On January 16th 2026, Kings Psychiatry entered into a strategic partnership with the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Sustainable Development Goals, advancing national mental-health priorities in alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 3, specifically Targets 3.4 and 3.5, which address mental well-being and substance-use disorders.

The partnership reflects a shared commitment to strengthening Nigeria’s mental-health ecosystem through evidence-based care, professional collaboration, and systems-level approaches that integrate prevention, early intervention, treatment, and public education.

Kings Psychiatry emphasized its readiness to work alongside healthcare professionals, State Governments, and relevant public institutions to address the growing burden of mental-health conditions, reduce stigma, and expand access to ethical, high-quality, patient-centered mental-health services nationwide.
